Mason is a passionate Technologist who is enthusiastic about innovative building and technology strategies. After graduating SAIT, Mason started his career by working for Ace Architecture, as an Intermediate Architectural Technologist. This position allows Mason to perfect and expand his skillset by increasing his experience in Revit and the building process and increasing his building knowledge by working on the contemporary architectural features that Ace implements.As an Intermediate Architectural Technologist, Mason is responsible for constructing drawing sets through each stage of a project with the use of his up-to-date Revit skills, and problem-solving abilities. He ensures that each set communicates the Architects vision by displaying in a comprehensive manner, the elements of the project that makes it unique. Mason practices a cohesive mindset ensuring that the drawing standards will meet the required criteria of the Architectural concepts, municipal building code, zoning requirements, building systems, community impact, sustainability, and the clients’ needs. Using contemporary 3D visualization techniques, Mason is able to express and solve the collaboration required through different fields of work to complete the final product with the original design intent. |
