This home was completely stripped down to the studs due to the asbestos removal process. In this 2,100 square-foot home, we were tasked with designing the basement and main floor. The family was looking for a more functional, modern and open layout with improved flow between rooms while adding a master ensuite to the main floor along with a full bathroom and two additional bedrooms in the basement. The back yard exterior space also needed to be updated with the addition of a patio due to the addition of the French doors off the kitchen. Our biggest challenge – and success- with this project was making a relatively small main floor appears and function like a large space.
