Ace Architecture is seeking an Intermediate Architectural Technologist with a passion in architecture, drawing and design excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply architectural concepts, building code and zoning requirements to develop architectural design documents to the satisfaction of the client(s);
• Prepare and assemble drawings sets from schematic design through to construction administration in Revit;
• Ensure all work meets Ace standards for quality;
• Complete work upon agreed deadlines.

 
Key Qualifications and Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in design, construction documents, and contract administration.
• Graduate of an accredited Architectural Technologist Program or equivalent;
• Excellent working drawings and knowledge of current versions of REVIT and AutoCAD is essential;
• Strong knowledge of building technology and assembly, construction methodology, and materials application;
• Familiar with Contract Administration and Shop Drawing Review;
• Ability to understand and formulate design decisions and present for discussion;
• Fully versed in the Alberta Building Code;
• Have an excellent eye for detail;
• Ability to work independently and with a highly collaborative team;
• Exercise judgement where supervision may be minimal;
• Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
