The Abrio Maker Space is a thoughtfully designed addition to an existing senior housing community in Airdrie. Inspired by residents with strong creative interests, the project provides a dedicated environment where tenants can explore their creativity, develop projects, and engage in hands-on making.
ACE Architecture recognized the potential of introducing a compact yet highly functional building that seamlessly integrates with the existing residence. The Maker Space not only offers residents the freedom to bring their ideas to life but also includes the flexibility to open the space to the community, allowing them to showcase and sell their creations.
This project highlights ACE’s commitment to designing spaces that enrich daily life, foster creativity, and strengthen community connections.
